Coping With Global (& Local) Chaos: What You Can Control And What You Can’t

Authored by Daisy Luther via The Organic Prepper blog,

Have you been glued to the news lately, nervously watching what’s going on in the Middle East? Are you concerned that World War III is about to kick off at any moment? Is the state of the economy frequently on your mind? Maybe it’s Ebola that keeps you up at night or the risk of a cyberattack or an EMP or that the political party not of your choosing will take over the government.

I’ve seen a lot of people expressing worry and fear. They’re afraid we’re about to get involved in a war. They’re worried about terror attacks and conflicts on American soil. They’re terrified that their sons and daughters will be sent off to risk their lives and limbs in another Afghanistan.

Universal Basic Income + Automation + Plutocracy = Dystopia

The solution, obviously, is to stop this before it happens, because if it’s allowed to happen it will be far too late to do anything about it. People are going to have to wake up out of the propaganda matrix and take power away from the billionaire class, and that must necessarily include taking control of automation technologies. Artificial intelligence and automation are far too consequential for their future to be determined by a few billionaires who are only billionaires because they can think like a machine better than other people can. Humanity’s future must be guided by the collective wisdom of all human beings in the service of humankind, not by binary-minded tech wizards in the service of corporate profit margins.

A universal basic income could work under a very different system, but the one thing all the most popular UBI/automation models being promoted by the billionaire class and by Andrew Yang have in common is that none of them seek to fundamentally change the system which enables plutocrats to shore up more and more power and control for themselves. They all seek to maintain the status quo and plunge it further into oligarch-dominated dystopia. This should be rejected.

American Apocalypse: The Government’s Plot To Destabilize The Nation Is Working

Be dangerous in the best way possible: by thinking for yourself, by refusing to be silenced, by choosing sensible solutions over political expediency and bureaucracy.

When all is said and done, the solution to what ails this country is really not that complicated: decency, compassion, common sense, generosity balanced by fiscal responsibility, fairness, a commitment to freedom principles, and a firm rejection of the craven, partisan politics of the Beltway elites who have laid the groundwork for the government’s authoritarian coup d’etat.

Let the revolution begin.

Better yet, take a look at “Megacities: Urban Future, the Emerging Complexity,” a Pentagon training video created by the Army for U.S. Special Operations Command.

The training video is only five minutes long, but it says a lot about the government’s mindset, the way its views the citizenry, and the so-called “problems” that the government must be prepared to address in the near future through the use of martial law.

“They Had Me At Gunpoint”: Hertz Customers Keep Getting Arrested For Driving “Stolen” Cars | Zero Hedge

This happened to me with U-Haul. It’s a real thing. It’s a weird thing. Yep, we were driving up Sherman avenue in Hamilton and I noticed two cruisers behind me. It was a one-way street at this point that I was turning onto. I got kind of flustered as I wasn’t sure I could make the turn on a red light, so I waited. I think that’s the moment they thought they’d do me. I turned, they followed. I went past the first light and next thing I know a cruiser is beside me and one is behind me. They arrested me, cuffs and bucket seat in the cruiser for about 30 minutes when they finally let us go. I could go on…
