There has always been a huge discussion around jest and wearing masks (Stanley Kubrick, Eyes Wide Shut. ). Masked balls and parties for 100s of years have sealed the fate of nations, often in the bedroom. With a mask on you could say and practically do anything and with a nod and a wink all parties agreed the truth would stay behind the mask (as you suggest Rod Paget). They usually knew who each other was. Covering one’s face then is a powerful statement. Maybe, from our pre-conditioned state, we don’t understand this and its import today and this leaves us vulnerable as a society (similar in scope to the tumultuous sixties) to manipulation by media and sports personalities and politicians.
My understanding of Lennon’s wish was that people would realize they were just as likely to be successful as he was. That’s what I hear. “You think you are a superstar. Well right you are. But we all shine on…” All equal, under or above no one, and no thing ever.

I am as powerful as the ‘powerful’ and way more free than the sheep. I contain multitudes. If you live in your head you die in your head even if you’re still breathing. Your argument sounds like an excuse to do nothing (except maybe write a few quippy posts on FB). This is just a bending over and relenting because it’s just too hard for you to cope with the notion that you are free in all ways — say what you want, do what you want — you just haven’t recognized it yet. It’s a big responsibility. Waking up is hard. WTFU.

This is a circular argument. Freedom is freedom defined by the individual. Tolerance of other’s freedom is where it gets slippery. Bottom line is life has risks. We are all born equal and take those risks personally. People follow leaders who make up rules to appease themselves and their followers (maybe some graft on the side). The ‘freedom people’ as you call us aren’t interested in stepping on anyone’s toes (at least I’m not). Pay what? Play what? The land, sea and air are mine as much as they are yours. Corporate tyranny is geared towards denying me while gratifying themselves and using media, fear and the greater good to justify their means. Relatively speaking, considering technology, there is no reason for starvation or poverty on this planet. As the people here we own all this stuff – good and bad.

Forget about taking sides for a moment. Would you not admit that the world’s populations is divided along many lines right now: politics, virus, economics, generations, etc.? This meme is a way to say: “There is a power. (I will call it a silent minority) that is pulling the strings. They are threatened by a mass awakening.” Letting us focus on the division of players through social media feeds into their game of conquest and buys them time (who ever the fuck they are). This greedy, evil ‘power’ is making itself more obvious everyday. It’s ego won’t let it rest. We will cut it down. The Great Spirit will abide.

What’s your point? Cash is equivalent to Bitcoin as a worthy replacement? As a marker to retain value Bitcoin is a moving target. No one knows still who or where Sayatoshi san is and he has the one code that could bring all Bitcoin balances to 0 overnight. You won’t read that fact in any book.
When the bank/credit card makes a loan to a customer that loan is paid as soon as they receive a signature (or a PIN in the case of a credit card). They use that signature in trade for a loan they get that is 9x the original loan amount. This is accomplished through a banking trick called fractional reserve, plus they make the interest on the original loan – all based on cash not worth the paper it’s printed on. Aaaaaand the bank’s share price goes up so shareholders earn while they sleep! So, your aforementioned transaction made them lots more than $60. Unfortunately, cash in the bank is losing money every minute of every day as more cash is printed just to pay the interest on the debt the banks run up, that, by order of parliament, is the citizenry’s responsibility to repay. In for a penny, in for a pound. Hiding and trading value through Bitcoin is handy sometimes but it’s just another circus. IMO Bitcoin is more a devolution than an evolution in economics and a game not for the feint of heart. At least banks have brick and mortar structures on street corners. Bitcoin is the wild west in the aether. Also, Blockchain/Bitcoin is not very good at reversing transactions – worse than PayPal.
The only way out is to live off-grid and use things like barter; stiff all your creditors if you have to and don’t participate in the traditional economic system in the obvious ways, ever: no tv, no cell phone, no payments of any kind, no child care, no vacations – cause it’s a never ending vacation when all you have is time, skills and just enough to get by.

Snopes is proven disinfo. Conspriacy is a word invented by the CIA in the sixties to sew counter-intelligence. It works very well.
It’s hard to wake up. Look at many of the Jews, Blacks and Roma in Nazi Germany. They new what was coming but refused to acknowledge the signs.
In any case our Charter Rights are being walked all over and whatever you happen to believe is the cause, who caused it, why and when it will be over is second to the fact our Freedoms are at stake.
Life has risks. The only way we can mitigate most of them is to think for ourselves and take responsibility for ourselves and not let others dictate our positions, ie: Media, Government, Corporations…. Unfortunately for some this skill has been replaced by so-called ‘experts’ who are usually no more than ‘showboats’ with an agenda, usually involving money. Yes, Bill Gates, Fauci, Bezos, Soros all have agendas and it comes down to one thing: keep you as a slave, take your value for themselves and keep you in the cave looking for shadows in the dark. Read your Plato or Dante to gain some perspective.

The public health experts I have heard, all to a one, have ties to big Pharma, ties to the woefully inadequate WHO and quite frankly don’t know how to communicate very well and need a primer on the English language. Paranoia is a symptom of today’s culture. PTSD is the epidemic of the age and this has been caused in part by these “Experts” for their own gain: Banking: mortgages backed by nothing, Military: forever war, Commerce: child labour and missing children (all issues swept under the rug for the benefit of the few), out of control health care. Look through history at the similarities between cultures that have manipulated their populations, the Romans (Fall of) and the French (WWII) come to mind. All the tactics are the same as today: misinformation, strong arm tactics, public shaming, outrageous punishments. This fear mongering is a continuum and those promulgating such fear cannot ever go back on their statements for they would be eliminated. They are in it to the end.
The virus is real, as real as the flu that’s been around for ages (more virulent but less toxic than advertised). What isn’t real is the reaction. Shutting down the economy was the last straw for me (too much cognitive dissonance). There is a larger agenda at foot and I’m not afraid to confront it. Mainstream Media is a joke and Experts are a dime a dozen. The majority of people have been brainwashed out of thinking for themselves by media, leadership and business. This is their first mistake. Waking up is hard to do.
